Built for fivem roleplay

Single-thread performance

FXServer leans hard on one core. High-clock CPUs keep server frame time low even with hundreds of resources ticking.

Room for stream assets

Custom vehicles, clothing, and MLO interiors add up fast. NVMe disk keeps resource streaming quick for joining players.

MySQL included

Create databases from the panel and point oxmysql or mysql-async at them — characters, jobs, and inventories persist properly.

txAdmin management

Live console, player actions, ban management, scheduled restarts, and artifact updates from a browser your staff can share.

DDoS protection

Public RP servers attract attacks. Always-on filtering plus an enhanced tier with priority support during incidents.

Framework setup help

Managed customers get framework installs, SQL imports, script conflict fixes, and performance profiling handled for them.

How much RAM do you need?

Large whitelisted RP with heavy MLOs64-12824 GB$30.00 / mo

FiveM memory use tracks the number of resources and streamed assets far more than raw slot count. If you run a full framework, custom MLOs, and dozens of scripts, size one tier above your player target.

Launching your FiveM server

  1. Pick a RAM size based on your resource count and slots from the table above.
  2. Grab a free server key from the Cfx.re keymaster and paste it into server.cfg.
  3. Install your framework — ESX, QBCore, or qbox — then create a database from the panel and import the SQL.
  4. Upload your resources and stream assets over SFTP, then list them in server.cfg in load order.
  5. Set scheduled restarts and backups in txAdmin or the panel scheduler — the control panel guide covers both.

Keeping server frame time healthy

Most FiveM performance complaints trace back to a handful of resources doing work every tick. Run txAdmin's resource monitor or /resmon in game, sort by CPU time, and fix the worst offenders before adding memory.

Database round trips are the second common culprit. Use oxmysql with prepared queries, avoid per-frame lookups, and index the columns your inventory and character scripts hit most.

Rockstar game updates periodically break artifacts and scripts. Keep a staging server, update artifacts there first, and always take a backup before pushing to your live city.

Questions, answered

How much RAM does a FiveM server need?

A small ESX or QBCore server with 20 slots runs well on 8 GB. A busy roleplay server with 64 players and 200+ resources wants 16 GB, and large whitelisted RP cities with heavy scripts and MLOs should start at 24 GB.

Do you support ESX, QBCore and qbox?

Yes. Any framework that runs on the FXServer artifacts works here — upload your resources folder, import the SQL, and set your server.cfg. Managed customers can hand us a framework install to set up end to end.

Is txAdmin included?

Yes. txAdmin runs alongside your server so you get the web admin interface, live console, player management, scheduled restarts, and one-click artifact updates.

Do I get a MySQL database?

Every FiveM server can create databases from the panel, which is what oxmysql and mysql-async connect to for characters, inventories, and jobs.

Can I use custom cars, MLOs and scripts?

Yes, and NVMe storage plus generous disk means large stream folders are fine. Upload via the web file manager or SFTP and add them to your resources list.

Do I need a Cfx.re licence key?

Yes — FiveM requires a free server key from the Cfx.re keymaster portal. Paste it into server.cfg and your server appears in the server list on boot.

How do artifact updates work?

Update FXServer artifacts from txAdmin or the panel egg settings. We recommend taking a backup and testing after each Rockstar game update before opening to players.

Can my staff get access without seeing billing?

Yes. Panel subusers get scoped console and file access, and txAdmin has its own permission roles. Invoices and payment methods stay in your client area only.

Ready when you are

Configure RAM, protection, and managed help — your server provisions as soon as the first invoice is paid.
